from the viewpoint of compassionate and responsible people (let
alone knowledgeable people), such argument is ludicrous and
frustrating. how can you argue with a person who only proposes his
view for consideration, doesn't back his own argument, and insists
his proposal be considered?
but maybe 麦子's intention is for the good of the mankind. a showcase
for natural selection on the grand scale. let everyone departures at
will from the default configuration (recommended by scientists), and
give it infinite amount of time. there is no conclusion to be reached
because there is no end, and a conclusion was not intended either.
